Network Protector Quality Control Lead

The NWP QC Lead oversees the Quality Control (QC) team, ensuring workloads are effectively distributed, devices are calibrated, and processes align with quality standards.
Location: Onsite, Richards Manufacturing Facility (Irvington, NJ)
Hours: Full time
Reports to: Head of Quality
Key Responsibilities:
Organize the workload of the QC team accordingly.
Manage vendor returns.
Perform incoming inspections.
Record inspection results by completing reports.
Perform tests to ensure products meet requirements.
Communicate with Engineering when issues are found during inspections.
Coordinate with Engineering to promptly determine dispositions for rejected products.
Report material rejected on the floor.
Train and mentor QC personnel.
Scrap material in D365 as per disposition by Engineering.
Coordinate sample inspections, assign tasks to the team, and communicate results with Engineering.
Maintain an updated calibration database.
Ensure QC personnel have the necessary supplies to perform their tasks.
Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for QC processes.
High school diploma or GED required.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is a plus.
5 years of experience in QA/QC roles.
QMS introduction program.
Test Instruments module D365.
Dynamics 365 Quality Order module.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and conciseness.
Ability to maintain neat and organized records and files.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Blueprint, 2D, and 3D model reading knowledge.
