Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Engineer/Associate to provide technical sales support, assist with quoting and bid preparation, and handle general customer service inquiries. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring seamless communication between the company, customers, and marketing teams.

Location: Onsite (Irvington, NJ) 

Hours: 8Hr Day shift (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise and support for customer inquiries, product specifications, and solution recommendations.
  • Quoting and Bid Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely quotes and bid proposals based on customer needs, specifications, and company capabilities.
  • Customer Service Inquiries: Respond to general customer inquiries, providing information and support related to products, services, and order status.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Report any errors or inconsistencies in marketing materials and provide suggestions for improvement.
    • Participate in literature review and proofreading to ensure the accuracy and clarity of promotional materials.
    • Collaborate with the Creative Lead to provide drawings, models, and other visual assets.
  • Bill of Materials Maintenance: Work closely with the Marketing/Sales Manager to maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accurate sales tracking and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing.
  • Previous experience is not required; however, a strong interest in sales, customer service, or engineering is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Basic understanding of engineering concepts and/or marketing is a plus.
